DESCRIPTION
Position Overview

The Inventory Logistics Associate (ILA) assists in serving multiple business units within the Supply Chain Department.  ILA’s will serve as the main conduit for shipping and receiving activities at Abeona Therapeutics location in Cleveland, OH.  ILA’s will also support the organization and management of inventory ensuring all materials used in the manufacturing suites are processed and released from the Quality Departments.  ILA’s will also be paramount in all aspects of Transportation of Drug Products to the qualified treatment centers for the associated Drug Product.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Travels To Qualified Treatment Sites (QTC) by plane and/or car to deliver Drug Product(s).  Travel arrangements will be arranged by the Associate Director of Product Transportation & Logistics in conjunction with Commercial personnel.
  • Organize and receive materials for all departments utilizing the NetSuite ERP system daily.
  • Review orders to be picked and brought up to the manufacturing staging area on a daily basis, communicating out of stock items to Supply Chain leadership.
  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of forecasted volumes for controlled and non-controlled inventory.
  • Facilitate and support the Quality Departments in releasing quarantined materials to Manufacturing or Quality Control.
  • Assist Supply Chain Management with the preventative maintenance of temperature controlled units assigned to the Supply Chain Department.
  • Assist Supply Chain Management in monitoring and dispositioning expired materials in conjunction with Quality Assurance.
  • Must execute all duties in collaboration with all Abeona Team members, be an engaged team player and communicate effectively.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required (work experience can be substituted).
  • Minimum of 1-4 years inventory experience.  Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, hospital or working in a GMP manufacturing environment, is a plus.
  • Must be organized, always able to receive new information and show a high attention to detail.  
  • Demonstrated proficiency in cGMP, basic arithmetic, planning, tracking, prioritization and timelines with a hands-on approach.
  • Capable of executing actions based on written instruction.
  • Ability to work across all levels and functions of an organization and operate independently.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to interact constructively with co-workers to solve problems and complete tasks
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and especially in Excel.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written).
  • Travel, weekend work, or late nights may be required as needed for transportation activities
