DESCRIPTION
Position Overview
The Manufacturing Associate, Logistics is responsible for working independently and with others on activities that support cGMP Manufacturing. These tasks include, but are not limited to autoclaving, media/supplement preparation, material staging, and material kitting. This position may also be responsible for basic Quality Management System (QMS) support.  Associates will maintain​ cGMP training, perform routine facility and equipment maintenance, and train in other processes related to supporting Manufacturing production.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Performs cGMP media manufacturing and support processes as Verifier and Operator.
  • Executes Master Production Records (MPRs) and study protocols and operates within written procedures.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and ensure all laboratory equipment and work areas are clean and in proper working order.
  • Maintains compliance by completing ongoing training/education.
  • Prepare media and supplements including weighing/dispensing dry components and liquid aliquots, stock supplies, maintain laboratory organization, and perform other duties as needed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform equipment preventive maintenance and routine cleaning.
  • Perform cleaning, sanitization and/or disinfection of the cGMP cleanroom area
  • Assist in implementing improvement ideas.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in biology, chemistry, engineering or related field or 0-2 or more years relevant experience.
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

A normal range of hearing and vision correctable to 20/20 is required. Occasional lifting up to 30 pounds is required.
